Sharjah illegal racing: 38 cars booked

Traffic control units in Sharjah Police have booked 38 vehicles for organising illegal racing on the roads. Traffic control units recorded 350 other traffic violations, including standing in the middle of the road for no reason.

These numbers were released at the launch of a traffic control campaign by the Sharjah Police, on the instructions of Allu Hamid Hadeedi, Commander General of Sharjah Police.

Colonel Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police said groups of youngsters accustomed to a lack of respect for the law, were involved in various practices hazardous to traffic.
