U.A.E. becomes ILO’s International Training Centre board member

The governing body of United Nations’ International Labour Organisation (ILO) has elected U.A.E. to the board of directors of ILO’s International Training Centre (ITC-ILO), based in Turin, Italy, during a recent meeting in Geneva as part of the ILO’s 103rd Session of the International Labour Conference.

Ministry of Labour said U.A.E., as a member of ITC-LIO, will represent the Asia -Pacific Region which includes 54 countries alongside India, China.

Through learning and training and providing related services that develop human resources and institutional capabilities, ITC-ILO contributes to achieving ILO’s goal of decent work for women and men and assists countries in their social and economic development.
